Greetings from the Chi Phi Fraternity at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Deciding whether to join a fraternity, and then which one, can certainly be a large task. We would like to take a minute to tell you a little about Chi Phi, which is re-starting at UNL later this fall. Anyone who wants to be a part of our organization this fall must be driven, have past leadership experience and possess a GPA above the all-male average on campus. If you meet those eligibility standards and want to help build a fraternity from scratch then keep reading!
Why Join a Fraternity? Being a member of a high-quality fraternity will provide you with significant benefits: building a great resume, making lifelong friendships, having access to successful alumni, leaving a legacy here at Nebraska, participating in community service projects and much more!
Why Join Chi Phi? Anyone who decides to be part of our re-start will have the opportunity to personally build a dominant organization, be a founding father, have an immediate leadership opportunity and shape the future of the fraternity. You will also have access to highly successful local/national alumni for internships/jobs and be subjected to no hazing whatsoever. This is an incredible opportunity if you see yourself as an ambitious person with the desire to lead, make an impact and leave a legacy.
Our History: We have existed at the University of Nebraska since 1964. Yes, 2014 is our 50th Anniversary! Founded on the values of truth, honor, and personal integrity, Chi Phi has a history at Nebraska that started in 1895 with a local fraternity, Alpha Theta Chi.
Our House: We own our own Fraternity House on 17th and C. The Chapter House is undergoing renovations and will house over 20 men. The Chi Phi House is the only Fraternity in the historic district south of the City Campus and its unique location positions our Fraternity to be part of the larger Lincoln community. Our Chapter has over 600 alumni who live locally, nationally and internationally, all working toward the continuous existence of our Fraternity and our facility!
We are currently in the process of recruiting high-quality men to join us. If you would like to learn more about what we are building and how you can get involved, please complete the following form:
